Summer Plans

School, for me, is officially out (finally) and summer is here! I’ve got lots of great things planned and I wanted to update you today and share what will be going on this summer.

First of all, over the summer I’m going to be moving to a Monday, Wednesday, Saturday posting schedule. Since I won’t be in school I will have more time to write posts, and so I want to publish three a week instead of two. The schedule will go back to twice a week once school starts again.

Also, as a heads up (though this is far in advance), I will be taking a two-week blogging break during the first two weeks of August. I’ll be helping run a camp during that time and likely will not have the energy to write posts; I wanted to give myself a bit of a vacation as well.

A two-week break, that is, except for my blogoversary, Sunday August 7! I’ll be popping in that Saturday to celebrate!

I’m planning to participate in the Purposeful Pages link-up from Amanda and Hannah. The first one goes live on July 2nd, so be on the lookout for that! (And if you have a blog, you should totally participate!)

I’ll be sharing posts on two special days this summer: Independence Day and my sixteenth birthday. 

You know that book list I shared in my last post? You can expect to see book reviews of several of those books and possibly other books too this summer.

In August, after I come back from my break, I will be doing a back to school series. Topics will include standing for truth in your school, teachers, and planning/organization for school, plus more!

Other topics I plan to post on this summer include sermon notes, our priorities, works vs. grace, and the Sabbath part 2. 

If you have any post ideas/requests, be sure to let me know, because I do have a few days that are not yet planned and I need some ideas!
